Answering the call for superior ballistic performance in a short, adaptable platform, Springfield Armory is proud to announce the 10-Round Hellion, ideal for restrictive locales. Featuring a Magpul 10-round magazine, this “bullpup” configuration 5.56mm has the action located behind the trigger for an overall length of just 28.25”— while still possessing a 16” barrel. The 10-Round Hellion sports ambidextrous controls that work in concert with a reversible case ejection system, allowing it to be easily fired from either shoulder. The result? A 5.56mm that combines portability with performance.

    For those who live in states with magazine capacity restrictions, the low capacity Hellion ships with a 10-round magazine.

  • Bullpup Design

    The bullpup system moves the action and the magazine back behind the trigger, reducing the overall length drastically while still retaining effective downrange performance.

  • Adjustable Gas System

    The Hellion 5.56mm bullpup features a two-position adjustable gas block with “S” suppressed and “N” normal modes to adapt to conditions and ammo availability.
